Shipping FAQs

Q. How long will it take for me to receive my order?

A. If we have copies on hand, less than 1 week*!

We aim to send orders out within 1-2 days of receiving an order. Once at the post shop, it usually only takes a few days to be delivered.

If we don't have copies on hand, it may take an additional three weeks** before you receive your order, as we have to ship in new copies from overseas.

*Subject to NZ Post delivery delays which may occur due to COVID-19.

**Due to COVID-19, shipping in of new copies is estimated to take 5 weeks. We are considering a faster shipping option.

Q. Why am I not able to order to my country?

A. Callaei Books currently delivers books within NZ only.

If you live outside NZ, please see the Bookstores page on our main website for links to other bookstores which may deliver to your country.

If you would like to enquire about international delivery to you from Callaei Books, contact us and we'll give you an estimate of how much it might cost as compared to other delivery options for outside of NZ.

Q. Are there eBook versions of the books?

A. Yes, there are! You can find eBook copies of our books available from the Kindle Store on Amazon.

Q. Am I able to pre-order?

A. Yes, you can. If we are sold out, or one of our new books is soon to be published/available, we will make an option available to pre-order closer to the order date.

Alternatively, if pre-order is not offered, you can still pre-order request a copy from us and we'll ensure that you get a copy when we order in!

Q. Will Covid-19 affect orders?

A. At Level 1-3, we are able to send out books to you.

(In the event that we are out of stock)
We are now able to order new copies in again, however to be able to get them to you in our usual time frame and avoid lengthy shipping delays, shipping will cost a little more. This will be reflected in a slight increase of price of each book.

Ordering direct from us will still be the cheapest and most time-efficient option for ordering our books!

Q. Where else can I get copies?

A. If we're sold out of the book you're after, we recommend visiting the Book Depository website! They ship internationally and are really reliable.

Alternatively, you can order from Amazon US.

If you are an NZ resident, though, please keep in mind that both of these options are more expensive than ordering direct from us.

Also, don't forget that our books are also available in eBook format!

Direct links to the books selling on other bookstores' sites can be found on the Bookstores page on our main website.
